Pale straw in the glass. Starts of well with a rich floral nose showing ripe peaches, white raisins, and key lime bouquet. Juicy fruit forward with melon and floral notes. Shows ripe stone fruit with a creamy mouth feel and a touch of effervesce. Minerals develop in waves on the finish with ruby grapefruit and honey. This is a very rich wine showing the best of the 2007; vintages with big fruit, opulent, with enough acid to hold together. Lovely as an aperitif. Pair with spicy foods, fish with citrus or savory sauces, or savory pork dishes.
