Very earthy nose with leather, barnyard, and vanilla, intense. Opens with Bing and sour cherries and bramble fruits. Develops earth and minerals with nutmeg and a touch of pastry. Finishes with white peppers and medium tannins, but goes a bit short. Unfiltered and unfined wine has a solid body and texture.
