Light to mid garnet and brick thinning on the rim. Mocha and ripe plums with hints of vanilla and spices on the bouquet. Nicely aromatic. Chocolate, blackberries, and black cherries open forward; very fruit focused Developing anise and earth notes in soft and silky textures. Medium bodied but softer wine, tannins are not pronounced but well integrated into the overall structure of the wine. Pair with fowl, lighter beef dishes, or stews. Good as an aperitif.
