Pale gold with green hues and highlights. Aromas of lemon and melons with green tea over chalky notes; aromatic. Opens with a bite of citrus developing honey, melon, and extending mineral themes. Medium bodied but exuberant wine shows restrained honeyed textures over tightly wound, but not quite angular, acid backbone; mouthwatering and balanced. Finish spikes grapefruit and orchard fruit then lingers over melons and lemons with minerals contrasts. Acid is a bit more restrained and balanced than their previous vintage. Control and balance make this wine an excellent spring or summer aperitif. Pair with mollusks or steak fish especially prepared with citrus fruit based sauces.
