The 2008 vintage of the cooperative production of Tierce Dry Riesling is pale straw in the glass with green sparkles. Aromas of mango seeds, lime, Meyers lemon, and a touch of diesel on the bouquet. Palate is restrained for a 2008 Seneca Lake Riesling. Shows flavors of mango, key lime, lemon, and some minerals tones. This is a medium weight Riesling that displays smooth textures with enough acid to keep it from getting fat. Finish gets juicy and mouthwatering with crisp green apples and signature slate. Good length. Works well as a refreshing aperitif. Pair with trout almandine.
